Josh pointed out to me recently that Timecube progenitor Gene Ray has taken his theories to a new level of crazy, calling for the death of all educators not teaching Cubicism:

Tis Time to kill any educator who does

To save humanity from extinction, like
prior civilizations perished, youth must
redirect self teachers, or destroy them.
Stupid Educators know of the Truth I
speak and know that it will indict them

from any mention of Time Cube Debate.

as in brainwashed and indoctrinated.

educators who ignore Nature’s Harmonic
Time Cube or suppress free speech rights
to debate Time Cube Creation Principle.

A little bit of history: MIT students thought Gene’s theories were fascinating, so they invited him to give a lecture about them in front of eager learners. To Gene’s dismay, none of the faculty showed up, in what he thought was a conspiracy against Cubicism. The lecture is available online for interested parties.

    I met Gene Ray in one of the St. Petersburg, Florida’s post office parking lots in the summer of 2001 when he approached me by my car. He offered assistance as I had the hood up at that time. He asked me if I ever heard of the TimeCube concept and, of course, I had not. Gene then explained to me the startling but interesting TimeCube concept to me and gave me a few flyers that he had been handing out. He also showed me a 3-dimensional, clear, small-scale ‘TimeCube’ he was holding as a ‘demo’ or ‘prop’. We had a very nice chat while my friend that was with me waited nearby. Gene then said that the St. Pete Times would not publish anything on his TimeCube and asked me to call and write to the Editor of the newspaper to complain that they were illegally banning his Free Speech to the public. He was perturbed about this but quite a gentleman. We parted ways and he invited us to call/write him to the address listed on his flyers. I wrote to him soon afterwards because I was curious and the flyers had only very little information on them; one explaining the theory/concept and the other about the St. Petersburg Times not publishing his ideas. My letter came back stamped “Return to Sender/No Known Forward Address”.

    Frankly, I am dismayed at his CRAZY rantings and ravings on his website, which is a far cry from the gentle and kind man I met in St. Petersburg that day in 2001.

    What happened to him? Was I talking with a ‘MADMAN’, who was hiding other sides of himself or to a ‘devil’s deciple’? ~~ but he acted so ‘normal’…eek…scary.

    I know!! I met only 1 of his 4 selves! Yes! That’s it!! … {{is it??}}

    Regardless of what you think, or may “think” that you “know”, one simple truth stands out: Time Cube IS factual. There are those who know this, and those who don’t (yet) know it. That does not change the facts.

    There really isn’t any actual fact to support all of this….its just an idea. Maybe if he could post some hard facts people would be more likely to take him seriously. Complete, coherent sentences would be nice too.

    Usually an intelligent person could explain the most complex things in layman’s terms. That’s what makes a person intelligent……Oh well. For someone that thinks words are evil, he sure uses alot of ‘em….a contradictory simultaneous action = 0…..AND very “EVIL”….. by his own standards.
    And no Jesus DIDN’T have “anything to do with your birth”, does the Book imply it, does he surmise it? Maybe if he finished or at least read a couple of those “EVIL” books he’s talking about….he’d know what the h_ll he’s talking about.
    And lastly, wtf IS he talkin’about?!
    WOW!! THIS guy isn’t ONE french fry short of a happy meal, he’s only GOT ONE french fry in his happy meal!

    I understand “traditional” physics, and Gene Ray is correct about cubic creation. I am also a mystic, and this fits with the indescribable world beyond…Like all pure truth, it is ineffible. The net of language fails to catch the pure and simple truth of timecube. First of all, these flames are simply fear personified. These people detect some truth in his statements, but are scared off by Gene’s desparate language, so they are quick to call him crazy. If I were to say that we are living before after the past, it is the truth, it is, however, hard on the ears and the brain simply because it is unconventional. Give your mind time to slough off linear, singular, creation. You’ve had a lifetime to accept it. I have been exploring timecube for nearly two years, and I am just now wrapping my mind around it fully. And it DOES amount to creating four simultaneous worlds, believe me.

    Cut an orange into 4 even sections.
    Stick it back together and you have a flippin’ Gene Ray time cube.
    Rotate it once and all the sections go around “simultaneously” and each of those sections are experiencing one rotation what an invention. 4 per 1 That’s it , really!!
    Next:
    Everything he rants and raves about is just his “old south” thinking. He’s just a retired electrician, has a marble game patent(cheaply done) and patents on fishing gear. Now he has another one,,,,right. He’s a little thetched, too.
    Question: What does one have to do with the other?

    Uhmmmm, why four ? The earth can be devided an infinate amount of times (not just two) to produce an infinate amount of “simultaneuous” days … not to mention that even if the earth didnt rotate at all (or we didnt exist to percieve it) there would still be time … our conception of a day (24 hours etc) has nothing to do with time. Im sure i’ll be condemned for all enternatity for askig such a blasphemous question but … at least ive read you entire site and listend to some of your radio stuff before asking.

    my father suggests knowone is STUPID just educated false we both can agree,he also says that if we are evil word worshippers then why is TimeCube a word? the socrates method is a corner indeed can you debate this?.also my mother claims you are an atheist and for disprooving god you should be “saved” by the lord a.k.a word god,gay god,etc,etc.
    i myself have experienced the so called truth of TimeCube,i myself have experienced the so called truth of TimeCube.
    if jesus is the truth
    and if TimeCube is the truth

    Gene, some friendly advice. As long as you can take care of yourself and leave others alone, people will leave you alone. They may even find you amusing and entertaining.

    But talk about “killing educators who do not teach Cubicism” crosses the line. You could get yourself in a lot of trouble. If you really feel this way, I urge you to go see a psychiatrist and have him check you out. That’ll be much less traumatic than being forced to do so by a court.

He told me, in a jokingly manner, that he would love to hold Gene Ray to that 10,000.00 dollar bet but there seems to be a problem: he cannot understand him! It was not because of fear that the MIT professors refused to show up to the lectures; it was because they had legitimate things they could have been doing other than sitting down and listening to a guy ramble.

    If Gene Ray was truly on to something then he should compose a book in a systematic format that provides even a vague outline of his theory. Further, until he takes “educators” seriously and offers them some respect, he should not expect them to take him seriously and give him any respect.

    Academia still remains open to many questions concerning reality. Atomism is the perfect example.

    What is a “Day” to God. The time we use is only made by what the Greek made. A day to God or a hour could be what is in his time. We call it time because we gave it a name. We call a Tree a Tree because we gave it that name. we call a chair a chair because we called it that. I feel sorry for the ones who have not seen the light. BUT you still have a chance..     While thought provoking initially, I got bored of the re-repeats and the aggravated tone. It would have been better for him, had he provided ways to benefit from his theory. What people require is a solution for a problem. Just ranting about the legitimacy of a theory, does not serve a purpose. I hope he is becomes more business centric and uses his logic to make money for himself. Rather than trying to gain mass acceptance, it would be strategic to achieve a competitive advantage.

    would time cube explain the following: I rang the social insecurity office for a form, on the 1st of February; the said form arrived on my doorstep an hour later, the post stamp was marked 31st january.It had been posted the day before i asked for it.freaky stuff, I still can’t get my head around that one.
