I just received an email noting that the Harvard Book Store is for sale. I know that online book sales has limited the ability for book stores to succeed, but I personally think that Harvard Book Store is the best in the world. I hope this sale doesn’t affect its standing.
Harvard Book Store isn’t even the best bookstore in _Cambridge_, much less the world.
It is the Tattered Cover in Denver, of course, which is the best bookstore in the world.
Best in the world? I bought countless books there, I was almost always disappointed by their content (especially on e-business, their books are pretty worthless on this subject). The best bookstore in the world for me is probably Hatchards on Piccadilly in London (and I am French so it is a lot for me to say that :-))
