Olde skoole

I broke down today and bought an analog weblog (also known as a “pocket notebook”). I’m just so bloody tired of losing the occasional ephemeral thought into the memetic ether. Now I have a cache.

I have used my palm for several months and been scribbling memos to myself under the “To Blog” memo.

    Told you so.

Just kidding. But the best little notebooks are made by APICA, a japanese company. They all say the following Engrish sentence on them “Most advanced quality gives best writing features and gives satisfaction to you.” In spite of this, they’re the niceset paper I’ve ever seen, touched, and written on. I don’t know where you’ll find one in Boston, though, and I can’t seem to find much info on them on the web.

Continuing the writing tech theme - the best little pens are Sakura Pigma Micron 005. After years of looking for a good pen, it was like finding the Holy Grail.
